We’re thrilled to unveil the largest software upgrade in OMS history! Throughout 2026, OMS will be converting our live payroll operations to a new server, enabling us to introduce several new upgrades, numerous add-on features, and a forward-thinking approach to payroll HRIS technology. We’re proud to introduce My HR Geek, powered by OMS.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Over the past four months, we’ve been rigorously training and testing all client payrolls on the new server.
- A select group of clients will begin Beta Testing now, experiencing the new HRIS platform firsthand.
- Keep an eye out for future updates—we’ll be rolling out even more integrated features and cutting-edge AI technology later in 2026.
- Includes new mobile app.

2026 Minimum Wage Rates by State & Important Dates
Jan. 1, 2026
A new minimum wage rate is expected in 19 states.
July 1, 2026
A new minimum wage rate is expected in Alaska, the District of Columbia and Oregon.
Sept. 30, 2026
A new minimum wage rate is expected in Florida.
New minimum wage rates may require employers to visit individual states’ Department of Labor websites to update their wage and hour notices.
Legal Update
Health Plans Must Expand Coverage for Breast Cancer Screening for 2026
Effective for plan years beginning after Dec. 30, 2025, group health plans and health insurance issuers must expand their first-dollar coverage for preventive care for women to include additional breast cancer imaging or testing that may be required to complete the initial mammography screening process.
